Business challenge: With a large and growing fan base and worldwide brand, a new territory expansion and a new venue group acquisition, both required new business entity configurations and setups within the Company’s ERP system to support the respective accounting and financial processes. Existing staff were busy on their day-to-day finance work and deliverables, were not professional project managers, and the shorter-term nature challenged them to identify internal staff to help execute these projects per the business’ quick expansion timelines.

Business challenge: Accounts payable process was slow and costly. Unexpected invoices created budget/forecast variances, which were backwards looking and therefore limited proactive cost containment. Vendors were increasingly unhappy and demanding which impacted the business’s ability to negotiate favorably.
